Terry taught guitar classes for Okanagan College night school for many years.

Over the years Terry has played in many bands. He  played in a few bands with Bob King, a singer/guitar player,  in the late 1960’s.  The bands were called, The Sound Company,  The Rose Garden and Whiskey Jack.  In 1972  Terry played with a group called Gary and the Rebounds.  From 1973 to about 1984 Terry played for a group called Sandcastle.

For several years thereafter Terry focused mainly on his health food business and resumed teaching lessons part time for Tempo Music in 2002 for 5 years.
