James has been teaching guitar for over 6 years. His students range in age from 5 yrs to 85 yrs old. He teaches all styles --- from rock, country, jazz, and folk to metal --- but no techno! He's played in several bands throughout the last 15 years and is currently lead guitarist for Vernon's own "The Goods".

James continues to work on several different teaching methods, since everyone learns in a unique way. Some students need to see it, some need to hear it and some need both. He also has a 15 year old daughter which helps him relate to kids of all ages.
